Columbus State Community College Facilities Assessment
Columbus State Community College set several goals for facility planning, which included developing a system of forecasting capital projects related to the upkeep, appearance, and replacement and/or renewal of plant assets in a predictable and scheduled manner. We performed architectural, roofing and building envelope services to complete the college’s facility conditions assessment. The scope of our work included the collection of on-site facilities conditions data, interfacing with the University’s CMMS system, attendance at assessment presentation meetings, report generation and prioritization of needs for deficient facilities, as well as a complete inventory of mechanical equipment. Survey of building envelope includes walls, windows, roofs and foundations.
