The Cincinnati Enquirer covers new schools that will open in Cincinnati in 2022. Elevar has been hard at work on the Batavia Local Schools project and St. Bernard-Elmwood Place new school. We can’t wait for the students, staff, and communities to enjoy their new facilities!
November 4th marked the start of construction of a new East Clinton Middle School and renovations of the High School. By re-examining a previously completed Masterplan, Elevar worked with the District to create an updated plan for a 52,000 square foot Middle school that wraps around the iconic existing High School entrance tower and creates a secure entry sequence for both schools.
"At the end of 2020, Archbishop Moeller High School launched the largest fundraiser in the school’s 60-year history. The all-male Catholic high school smashed its goal. Moeller’s Raise the Shield capital campaign had a goal of raising $14 million. It recently announced the total raised was more than $22.4 million"
Keeping up with the daily operations and maintenance costs of aging buildings and infrastructure is an ongoing challenge for many districts. In this paper we address common issues found in older academic buildings and identify ways to plan for and solve these issues in a way that improves building infrastructure, lowers operating costs, and mitigates financial loss.
Research facilities must balance the highly technical requirements of operation with the flexibility of practical adaptation. The Art Academy of Cincinnati is planning a major expansion meant to raise its visibility, house new high-tech programs in film and animation, and serve as a working and teaching space for Cincinnati’s design and marketing community.
