The Bailey – FC Cincinnati’s supporters section – is now almost double the capacity of the club’s former home at Nippert Stadium. The design team collected input from the fans and integrated the feedback into the final design.

Working with nationally renowned Populous, Elevar provided architectural design, engineering, and interior design services for one of the most exciting projects to develop in the City of Cincinnati.

The stadium is home to the Major League Soccer expansion team, FC Cincinnati and is one of the largest soccer specific stadiums in all of the US. Located in the West End of the city on the former relocated Stargel Stadium site (also carried out by Elevar) , this transformative project will hold up to 26,000 spectators.

The stadium features a grass field and a full canopy roof designed to go around the entire stadium bowl and completely cover all seating rows. The roof and stadium facades feature ETFE foil technology, which will allow the club to light up the stadium in various color combinations and designs during events. The inside bowl design also currently includes a cut-out feature in the southeast corner that will allow spectators a clear view of the Cincinnati skyline from their seats.

The players’ needs were at the forefront of the design of the team areas at the stadium, including the team room and medical facilities. Now complete, TQL Stadium meets all current requirements to host CONCACAF and FIFA events, featuring top national teams from around the world, including the U.S. Men’s and Women’s National Teams. Additionally, the facility will be a desirable destination for international club teams to play in during North American tours and friendlies.
