UC Health Family Medicine Residency Program

With the need for primary care services growing around the country, UC Health West Chester Hospital set out to establish a new Family Medicine Residency program to train new physicians and serve the West Chester community. The project required direct collaboration with the Residency Directors to plan and program the required spaces to foster resident learning and patient care. The project included two medical office building suites: the 9,000 SF clinic and the 3,000 SF administration space.

The holistic design elevates the patient experience by supporting healing and inspiring confidence in the quality of care. Spaces for staff including a resident’s library and work room, support and empower staff to deliver their best care every day. The administration suite was designed to attract and retain residents, physicians, and administrators overseeing the new residency program. Elevar provided architecture, interior design, equipment planning, FF&E design and coordination, MEP and construction administration.
